3D borehole electromagnetic modeling, inversion and migrationTechnoImaging's EMVision®1 provides 3D modeling, 3D inversion and 3D migration services for borehole electromagnetic surveys, including the following survey types:
EMVision® can be used to simulate or interpret borehole electromagnetic data for 3D resistivity models that include anisotropy. Borehole trajectories can be arbitrary.
EMVision® incorporates TechnoImaging's focusing regularized inversion that enables the recovery of models with sharp resistivity contrasts, rather than models with smooth resistivity distributions. EMVision® supports LAS data formats, and industry standard earth model formats used by Petrel2 and GoCad/SKUA3. EMVision® also enables Internet-hosted 3D borehole electromagnetic modeling, inversion and migration on TechnoImaging's high performance computing resources. TechnoImaging is able to provide short courses and training on 3D borehole modeling, inversion and migration. Relevant publications
